2010-12-12 14:07Τα πλεονεκτήματα της ψηφιακής φωτογραφικής μηχανής είναι:
- Χωρίς αλλαγή εξαρτημάτων, η ψηφιακή μηχανή μπορεί να έχει διαφορετική ευαισθησία στο φώς, ανάλογα με τη στάθμη ευαισθησίας (κλίμακα ISO) που επιλέγουμε. Στις μηχανές με φιλμ, αλλαγή στην ευαισθησία μπορεί να επιτευχθεί μόνο με αλλαγή του φιλμ.
- Χωρίς αλλαγή εξαρτημάτων, η ψηφιακή μηχανή μπορεί να έχει διαφορετική χρωματική απόκριση (επιλογή white balance), ανάλογα με τη διαθέσιμη φωτεινή πηγή, ώστε το παραγόμενο αποτέλεσμα να είναι χρωματικά ουδέτερο ή να έχει την απόχρωση που επιθυμούμε. Στις μηχανές με φιλμ, δεν είναι δυνατή η τροποποίηση της χρωματικής απόκρισης παρά μόνο με ειδικά φιλμ ή, εν μέρει, μέσω πρόσθετων, και δύσχρηστων, οπτικών φίλτρων.
- Η κάρτα μνήμης μπορεί να επαναχρησιμοποιηθεί πάρα πολλές φορές και δεν χρειάζεται ειδικές συνθήκες αποθήκευσης. Οι αποθηκευμένες εικόνες δεν επηρεάζονται από τα μηχανήματα ακτίνων X στα αεροδρόμια.[2]
- Η χωρητικότητα των καρτών μνήμης, όπου αποθηκεύονται οι εικόνες είναι πάρα πολύ μεγάλη. Έτσι μια ψηφιακή μηχανή, εφοδιασμένη με κάρτα υψηλής χωρητικότητας, μπορεί να χωρά πολύ περισσότερες φωτογραφίες από ένα φιλμ 35mm. Επιπλέον, οποιαδήποτε αποθηκευμένη εικόνα μπορεί να διαγραφεί εκ των υστέρων, κάτι που στην κοινή φωτογραφική μηχανή είναι αδύνατο.
- Στις μηχανές με μεγάλο ψηφιακό αισθητήρα (όπως οι ψηφιακές ρεφλέξ ή αλλιώς DSLR, ακόμη και τα προσιτά μοντέλα), η ευκρίνεια της παραγόμενης εικόνας πλησιάζει πολύ ή ξεπερνά αυτή του έγχρωμου φιλμ 35mm. Ενδεικτικά, έχει υποστηριχθεί ότι μηχανή DSLR (κατασκευής 2004) των 6 megapixel δίνει εικόνες με ανάλυση που φτάνει το 75%-100% του φιλμ.[3] Η ανάλυση που δίνουν οι ψηφιακές μηχανές αυτού του είδους υπερβαίνει σημαντικά αυτήν του φιλμ, όταν χρησιμοποιείται μεγάλη ευαισθησία στο φως (υψηλή ευαισθησία ISO). Έτσι, στις μεγάλες τιμές ISO, το έγχρωμο φιλμ δεν μπορεί να συναγωνιστεί τις DSLR σε οπτικό θόρυβο (κόκκο).[2] Ενδεικτικά, σε τεστ που διεξάχθηκε το 2003, εικόνα από άριστης ποιότητας έγχρωμο φιλμ ευαισθησίας ISO 100 παρουσίαζε τον ίδιο κόκκο με αυτόν που έδωσε κορυφαία (εκείνη την εποχή) DSLR, ρυθμισμένη σε ευαισθησία ISO 800.[4]
- Η ψηφιακή φύση της εικόνας δίνει τεράστιες δυνατότητες μετάδοσης και μετέπειτα επεξεργασίας στον υπολογιστή, χωρίς την ανάγκη δύσχρηστων χημικών και σκοτεινού θαλάμου. Ειδικά στη διόρθωση της χρωματικής ισορροπίας, της αντίθεσης (κοντράστ) και των σφαλμάτων φακών και προοπτικής, καθώς και στην αφαίρεση ενοχλητικών λεπτομερειών, οι δυνατότητες είναι σχεδόν απεριόριστες. Επίσης, είναι δυνατή η επεξεργασία του βάθους πεδίου, η προσθήκη κόκκου, θολώματος, οξύτητας κ.α. Γι αυτό το λόγο, οι απαιτητικοί χρήστες αρνητικού και θετικού φιλμ (σλάιντ) ψηφιοποιούν τις φωτογραφίες τους με εξειδικευμένους σαρωτές (σκάνερ) υψηλής ποιότητας, προκειμένου να έχουν τα πλεονεκτήματα της ψηφιακής επεξεργασίας και εκτύπωσης.
- Υπάρχουν αρκετοί σύγχρονοι οικιακοί εκτυπωτές οι οποίοι μπορούν να δώσουν από ικανοποιητική έως πολύ υψηλή ποιότητα τυπωμένης ψηφιακής φωτογραφίας. Αυτό είναι αδύνατο να γίνει με ερασιτεχνικό εξοπλισμό, για το έγχρωμο φιλμ τουλάχιστον.
- Η ψηφιακή φύση της εικόνας διευκολύνει σε τεράστιο βαθμό την παραγωγή φτηνών πανομοιότυπων αντιγράφων, σε μεγάλη ποικιλία μέσων αποθήκευσης (CD, DVD, σκληρούς δίσκους, κάρτες μνήμης, διαδικτυακές βάσεις δεδομένων κ.α.). Αντίθετα, το αρνητικό φιλμ ναι μεν διατηρείται, αν φυλάσσεται σωστά, για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα, αλλά η ποιότητα υποβαθμίζεται σε κάθε παραγωγή αντιγράφου. Επίσης, θα πρέπει να εξασφαλιστεί η διαθεσιμότητα χημικών και μηχανημάτων για την εμφάνισή του στο μέλλον, κάτι που είναι αβέβαιο.
- Η ενσωματωμένη οθόνη δίνει δυνατότητα στιγμιαίας προθέασης του αποτελέσματος. Αν ο φωτογράφος δεν είναι ικανοποιημένος, μπορεί να επαναλάβει τη φωτογράφιση, π.χ. με άλλες ρυθμίσεις έκθεσης, χρωματικής ισορροπίας, φλας κλπ. Αντίθετα στο φιλμ πρέπει να περιμένουμε την εμφάνισή του (εξαιρείται το φιλμ πολαρόιντ, το οποίο όμως δεν παρήγαγε υψηλής ποιότητας φωτογραφίες.[5] και το κόστος του ήταν υψηλό).
- Ο ψηφιακός αισθητήρας εικόνας μπορεί, με ανάλογη υποβάθμιση της ποιότητας της παραγόμενης εικόνας, να έχει πολύ μικρές διαστάσεις, διευκολύνοντας την ενσωμάτωση σε άλλες συσκευές, όπως, π.χ. κινητά τηλέφωνα.
- Εφόσον δεν υπάρχει φιλμ, δεν επηρεάζεται από την τυχαία είσοδο φωτός ή άλλης ακτινοβολίας στο εσωτερικό της.
- Μπορεί να δημιουργήσει, ηλεκτρονικά, μεγέθυνση (zoom) χωρίς να διαθέτει ανάλογο φακό. Αυτή η δυνατότητα υποβαθμίζει σημαντικά την ποιότητα εικόνας και πρέπει να αποφεύγεται εν γένει (το ίδιο αποτέλεσμα μπορεί να επιτευχθεί εκ των υστέρων, κατά την επεξεργασία της εικόνας σε υπολογιστή).
- Ο ίδιος αισθητήρας μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί και για τη λήψη ταινίας βίντεο.

Οχι στην αυτοματη προεπισκοπηση,γιατι ετσι θα εχετε απωλεια ενεργειας και να κρατατε την μηχανη σας κλειστη,οταν εισαστε σε συνεχεις ληψεις!
